The list of activities to be enjoyed is endless; hire a mountain bike(book in advance), go rock climbing (bring own gear) or go on a hiking route (book in advance), hire a canoe (book in advance) or do bird watching, lay down on your sun lounger for after noon siesta or go into town for Horse riding (please book in advance as the person doing it only has 4 horses) or go into town for round of golf. Hiking and mountain bike trail, fishing on river and canoe hire. Mountain bikes are for hire to use on the farm roads. The 8km hiking trail is highly recommended and truly amazing. It includes mind boggling rock formations, scenes of fynbos and sandstone mountains that wrap around you. Fishing is allowed on a catch and release basis from your canoe or on the banks of the river.
